The Spirit of God and the Spirit of the Anticrist

I have seen the picture above many times in the web, and today while reading these verses this image was brought back to mind. When we see Jesus in the miracles of the every day life, we believe in who He is, and believing in him is what differentiates us from the spirit of the antichrist.

Then Jesus told him, “Because you have seen me, you have believed; blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed.” - John 20:29


Dear friends, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world. This is how you can recognize the Spirit of God: Every spirit that acknowledges that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is from God, but every spirit that does not acknowledge Jesus is not from God. This is the spirit of the antichrist, which you have heard is coming and even now is already in the world.- 1 John 4:1-3


Lord give me strength to deal with the daily living concerns, help me grow in faith every day, and give me wisdom to rule out the false prophets. Without ever seeing you, I firmly believe that you are my savior. Amen

Espíritu de DIOS y el espíritu del Anticristo 

He visto la foto de arriba muchas veces en la web, y hoy al leer estos versos me fue traída esta imagen de nuevo a la memoria. Cuando vemos a Jesús en los milagros de la vida cotidiana, creemos en lo que Él es, y creer en Él es lo que nos diferencia del espíritu del anticristo.

Porque me has visto, has creído —le dijo Jesús—; dichosos los que no han visto y sin embargo creen. - Juan 20:29 

Queridos hermanos, no crean a cualquiera que pretenda estar inspirado por el Espíritu, sino sométanlo a prueba para ver si es de Dios, porque han salido por el mundo muchos falsos profetas. En esto pueden discernir quién tiene el Espíritu de Dios: todo profeta que reconoce que Jesucristo ha venido en cuerpo humano, es de Dios; todo profeta que no reconoce a Jesús, no es de Dios sino del anticristo. Ustedes han oído que éste viene; en efecto, ya está en el mundo. - 1 Juan 4:1-3


Señor dame fuerzas para lidiar con las preocupaciones del diario vivir, ayuda a que cada día crezca mi fe y dame sabiduría para descartar los falsos profetas. Sin verte, creo firmemente que eres mi salvador. Amen
