A veces las circunstancias y el estrés del diario vivir nos hacen sentir desanimados y olvidados por Dios. Las injusticias, los daños causados por terceros, las traiciones, problemas en casa o el trabajo, el desempleo, las deudas, todo eso a veces se nos viene encima e influyen en nuestro comportamiento y pensar, cosa que no debemos dejar que pase. 

Es por eso que si deseamos cambios y ajustes en nuestros asuntos externos, debemos de entender que primero debemos de cambiar nuestros pensamientos y sentimientos. Como dice la canción Turn Around de Matt Maher, cuando uno se siente perdido y busca un Salvador solo necesita cambiar de rumbo y encontrase con la gracia de Dios. Uno debe mantenerse firme en la creencia de que la armonía, la justicia y el orden están establecidos en Dios. Cuando pensamos así, adquirimos confianza y fuerza renovada en Dios.

Que este día sea uno para restablecernos y aceptar con firmeza nuestra creencia de que en Dios esta la justicia, la armonía y el orden.  Feliz Semana :)

But you must return to your God; maintain love and justice, and wait for your God always. - Hosea 12:6

Sometimes the circumstances and the daily stress make us feel discouraged and forgotten by God. The injustices, damages caused by third parties, betrayals, problems at home or at work, unemployment, debts, all that falls upon us and could influence in our behavior and thoughts, and that is something we must not permit.

Therefore, if we want changes and adjustments in our external affairs, we must understand that we must first change our thoughts and feelings. Like the song Turn Around by Matt Maher, if we feel lost and we are looking for a Savior, we must turn around and find His grace. We must stand firm in the belief that harmony, justice and order are established in God. When we believe that, we acquire faith and strength renewed in God.

May this day be one to reestablish ourselves and begin with firm belief that in God there is justice, harmony and order. Have a blessed week :)

Sensibilidad Divina, DIVINE SENSITIVITY

Jesús, el gran Sumo Sacerdote

Por lo tanto, ya que en Jesús, el Hijo de Dios, tenemos un gran Sumo Sacerdote que ha atravesado los cielos, aferrémonos a la fe que profesamos. Porque no tenemos un sumo sacerdote incapaz de compadecerse de nuestras debilidades, sino uno que ha sido tentado en todo de la misma manera que nosotros, aunque sin pecado. Así que acerquémonos confiadamente al trono de la gracia para recibir misericordia y hallar la gracia que nos ayude en el momento que más la necesitemos.- Hebreos 4:14-16

Que bueno es saber que a quien les servimos  es un Sumo Sacerdote que sabe y entiende más que nadie nuestro sentir, nuestro dolor y nuestras tentaciones. Otra cosa es servir a alguien que no se compadece de lo que uno este pasando y que no haya pasado por lo que uno pasa y siente a diario.

Ningún rey, gobernante o pastor puede tener mayor sensibilidad que Cristo Jesús, porque ÉL siendo hijo de Dios, fue tentado de la misma manera que nosotros, y soporto todas las pruebas que nosotros podemos atravesar, siendo ÉL hombre. Por eso es que Jesús Cristo se compadece de nosotros, comprende los problemas de su pueblo y simpatiza con nuestras debilidades.

Aun después de todo lo que padeció, Jesús permaneció firme en la fe, ÉL aprendió y al la vez nos enseño la obediencia. Podemos estar seguros que al venir a sus pies nuestros pecados serán perdonados y que encontraremos misericordia y comparación con una gran sensibilidad divina.

Therefore, since we have a great high priest who has ascended into heaven, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold firmly to the faith we profess. For we do not have a high priest who is unable to empathize with our weaknesses, but we have one who has been tempted in every way, just as we are—yet he did not sin. Let us then approach God’s throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need.- Hebrews 4:14-16

It is good to know that who we serve is a High Priest who knows and understands our feelings, our pains and our temptations more than anyone else. Another thing is to serve someone who is not compassionate of what we are going through, and who has not ever gone through what we are going through and feel on a daily basis.

A great King, ruler or pastor will never have a greater sensitivity than Jesus Christ. Although Jesus is son of God, He was tempted in every way just as we are, but with the big difference - He faced all tests and temptations in human form, the same way as us and that empowers Him to empathize with our weaknesses and understand clearly the problems of His people.

Even after all that he suffered, Jesus remained firm in the faith, He learned and at the same time taught obedience. We can be sure that when we come to His feet our sins will be forgiven with great mercy and compassion, through divine sensitivity.

My baking tip of the day: Cupcake Liners, Capacillos

Algunas vez haz horneado cupcakes y se te despegan del papel, o el color del capacillo se desvanece y no sale tan vibrante como entro al el horno?

A mi me a pasado con unos capacillos bonitos que compre, pero los cucpakes no salieron tan bonitos como yo esperaba.  Hasta que por fin encontré unos cupcakes liners de Cupcake Creations en Bed and Bath, New York, que si mantienen su color y quedan duritos después de hornear. Ellos tienen una gran variedad de colores y diseños.

Yo siempre opto por usar liners blancos de buena calidad ya que  estos nunca fallan, pero después de probar los de Cupcake Creations, ya se cuales usar y donde encontrar capacillos bonitos y de muy buena calidad. Según las instrucciones del paquete, estos baking cups de no necesitan colocarse en un molde, pero para evitar cualquiera accidente lo uso como liners normales ya que  a mi no me gusta tomar riesgos al la hora de hornear.

 ¿Como se llaman estos papelitos?

• Desde siempre yo los conozco como cupcake cups y capacillos, pero también los llaman pirontines y cupcake liners. Si me falta otro nombre les agradezco que lo compartan conmigo. 

Ya que solucionamos lo del nombre y los colores, ¿Porque se despegan los cupcakes del capacillo?

• Normalmente pasa cuando no dejas que el cupcake se cocine por completo y le faltaba más tiempo de hornear.
• Es importante que después de sacar del horno, quite los cupcakes del molde lo más pronto posible y los coloque sobre una rejilla para dejar enfriar completamente antes de guardar. Si lo dejas en el molde caliente es posible que el espacio entre el cupcake y molde empieze a sudar y esa humedad cause que se separe el liner de los cupcakes.
• Es normal que esto pase con algunas recetas de cupcakes que son muy grasos o húmedos.  
• Los capacillos que usaste no eran de buena calidad.

¿Se deben engrasar los capacillos?

• Cuando usa capacillos NO tienes engrasar nada, ni el molde ni el papel donde hará los cupcakes.
• Si vas hacer cupcakes sin capacillos, entonces SI necesitas engrasar el molde donde hará los cupcakes.

Our Decisions, NUESTRAS DECISIONES

No se engañen: de Dios nadie se burla. Cada uno cosecha lo que siembra. - Gálatas 6:7

Nuestras decisiones o acciones tienen una gran influencia en nuestras vidas. Si tomamos malas decisiones o actuamos mal, somos totalmente responsables por nuestros sufrimientos. También nos causan sufrimiento las decisiones egoístas de otras personas. Cuando le damos mal uso a nuestro libre albedrío, podemos ocasionar mucha aflicción a nuestros semejantes y a nosotros mismos. Por eso debemos ser sabios a la hora te tomar decisiones.

Dios nos ha hecho libres de tomar cualquier decisión que queramos. También nos ha dado la capacidad , de discernir entre el bien y el mal. Debemos orar cada día pidiendo sabiduría para poder tomar las decisiones correctas y así vivir sin sufrimientos innecesarios.

Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows. - Galatians 6:7

Our decisions and actions have major influence in our lives. Whatever our decisions may be, whatever we choose to do, we are responsible for any suffering that we go through. Selfish choices made by others also can cause us grief. When we misuse our free will, we can cause much grief to others and to ourselves, therefore we must choose wisely what we do in life.

God has made us free to make any decision we want and has given us the ability to discern between good and evil. We must pray every day for wisdom in order to make the right decisions and so live without unnecessary suffering

Ser Agradecidos, Be GRATEFUL

 Ser Agradecidos 

"Den gracias a Dios en toda situación, porque esta es su voluntad para ustedes en Cristo Jesús." - 1 Tesalonicenses 5:18

¿SOMOS DESAGRADECIDOS? Es posible que con nuestras agendas tan apretadas y tantos quehaceres de la vida cotidiana, olvidamos lo que tenemos o no agradecemos lo que otros hacen por nosotros. También se da el caso de que las personas que nos rodean son desagradecidas y orgullosas y estas actitudes pueden ser contagiosas.


¿QUE DEBEMOS HACER? Debemos meditar en las cosas buenas con que contamos. Claro que abran ocasiones en que los problemas nos asfixien y no nos sintamos capaces de salir adelante, pero todo tiene su propósito y podemos usar esas circunstancias para aprender de ellas y cambiar lo que NOSOTROS estamos haciendo mal. Es importante pensar en los que otros han hecho por nosotros y agradecérselo. Mucha gente solo se da cuenta de las cosas buenas que tiene - como la familia y los amigos - cuando las pierde. Algo que tampoco debemos olvidar es darle gracias a Dios en nuestras oraciones, ya que a el le debemos, "todo lo bueno y perfecto que se nos da, viene de arriba, de Dios, que creó los astros del cielo." - Santiago 1:17


Cuando agradecemos lo más importante, lo que en verdad tiene valor como son la: familia, amigos, salud, el amanecer, el sol, la lluvia, nuestro pan de cada día, nuestro trabajo....aprendemos que en realidad somos más bendecidos que lo que pensamos. 

 Be Grateful

 In every thing give thanks, for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.- 1 Thessalonians 5:18

ARE WE UNGRATEFUL? It is possible that with our tight schedules and with our long list of daily chores, we forget to be grateful for what we have or do not appreciate what others do for us. Having people around us that are ungrateful and of proud attitude can also be contagious.

WHAT CAN WE DO? We should meditate on the good things we have. Of course there will be times we feel our problems suffocate us and we may feel as though we can't go on, but everything has its purpose: we can use these circumstances to learn from them and change what WE are doing wrong. It is important to appreciate what others have done for us. Most people only realize the good things - such as family and friends - when they lose them. Something that we should not forget is to thank God in our prayers, we owe him, "Every good and perfect gift comes down from the Father who created all the lights in the heavens.." - James 1:17

When appreciate the most important and valuable things in our lives: family, friends, health, sunrise, rain, our daily bread, OUR JOB ....  we learn that we are actually much more blessed than we think.

Después de Manto de alegría, me he dado cuenta de que hay algunas cosas que tengo que dejar atrás, ignorar o cambiar. Mirado a mi alrededor y me doy cuenta de que me rodea tanta belleza, empezando por mi familia, mi casa, mi salud y lo más importante, el amor y bendición de Dios. After the post Garment of Praise, I have realize that there a a few things I need to either leave behind, ignore or change. I have looked around me and realized there are so many beautiful things surrounding me, starting with my family, my home, my health and most important, God's love and blessings.
