Por fin de vuelta... después de días sin electricidad, y sin internet vuelvo a estar comunicada de nuevo con el mundo cibernético! Al principio de octubre, se quemaron todos los cables eléctricos de la casa, .... TODOS!! Eso paso por un alto voltaje causado por la compañía eléctrica. Luego después del huracán Sandy, volvimos a quedarnos sin energía eléctrica esta vez, causado por un cable que quedo debajo de agua posada. Después de volver a restaurar nuestro servicio eléctrico, entonces tuvimos problemas con el servicio de internet. Como que Dios me esta mandando una señal, ¿Verdad? jejeje. Por todo esto no me quejo, pues pasamos unos días felices tipo antiguo y cercano a Dios sin interrupciones modernas.
No me importó estar desconectada, pues las varias noches que pasamos a luz de una vela, permitió que mi familia y yo compartiéramos más tiempo juntos, nos ayudo a reflexionar, y a discernir entre las cosas que son realmente necesarias y las vanidades innecesarias de este mundo. Al estar sin la comodidad de la luz eléctrica, refrigerador, televisión, radio, ni teléfono, pudimos darnos cuenta que lo que venimos pensando desde hace un tiempo es totalmente cierto, ....
lo más importante es la unión familiar, tener el amor de Dios grabado en nuestras mentes y corazones y vivir haciendo el bien, porque todo lo material y tecnológico, puede desaparecer en un segundo y sola quedará lo necesario... tu vida, tu alma y tu relación con Dios.
1 Timoteo 6:7-10
~ Porque nada trajimos a este mundo, y nada podemos llevarnos. Así
que, si tenemos ropa y comida, contentémonos con eso. Los que quieren
enriquecerse caen en la tentación y se vuelven esclavos de sus muchos
deseos. Estos afanes insensatos y dañinos hunden a la gente en la ruina y
en la destrucción. Porque el amor al dinero es la raíz de toda clase de
males. Por codiciarlo, algunos se han desviado de la fe y se han
causado muchísimos sinsabores.
Que simple, y que linda seria la vida si uno no se deja llevar por todos los afanes de este mundo. Entre más uno quiere, más problemas y estrés agrega uno mismo a su vida.
Finally back... after several days without electricity, and internet service, I'm finally reconnected with the cyber world! At the beginning of October, all electrical cables in our home were damaged due to a high voltage, the culpret, the electric company. After hurricane Sandy, we were again left without power, this time it was caused by an electrical cable that was under a puddle of water. Once our electricity was restored for good, we then had no internet service, due to our router being damaged. It's like God is sending me a sign. With all this happening, I didn't complain because we spent many happy "old time style" days being close to God without any kind of modern day interruption.
I didn't mind being disconnected, as we enjoyed several nights by a candlelight, allowing my family and I to share more time together, and to discern between what is really necessary, and the unnecessary vanity of this world. We thanked God for all that he has given us. By being left without the comfort of electrical light, refrigerator, television, radio, and telephone, we were able to prove that what we have been thinking for some time is absolutely true, what really matters is to be a united family, to have God’s love in our minds and hearts and to do good to others. All the other things can disappear in a second and what remains is your life, your soul and your relationship with God.

Those who want to get rich fall into temptation and a trap and into many
foolish and harmful desires that plunge people into ruin and
destruction. For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil. Some
people, eager for money, have wandered from the faith and pierced
themselves with many griefs.
Oh how simple, and how nice life could be if we didn’t let the vanity of this world worry us. The more we want, the more problems and stress we add to our lives.
