At Your Service, A Tu Servicio

Lord, make me an instrument of thy peace. Where there is hatred, let me sow love; where there is injury, pardon; where there is doubt, faith; where there is despair, hope; where there is sadness, joy; where there is darkness, light. - Francis of Assisi

Matthew 5:16 ~  In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.

Walk Like Jesus

Sunrise at our farm. Dominican Republic

Mandamiento con Promesa, Commandment With Promise

Ephesians 6:1-4 ~ Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right. “Honor your father and mother,” which is the first commandment with promise: “that it may be well with you and you may live long on the earth.” And you, fathers, do not provoke your children to wrath, but bring them up in the training and admonition of the Lord.

The first commandment with promise is "Honor thy father and thy mother." If you're wondering what's the promise, in the commandment itself it says: "that it may be well with you and you may live long on the earth."

Since their early childhood we must teach our children the importance of honoring their parents. This is to ensure that they do well in whatever they do and wherever they go. God also promises long life on this earth, meaning here. He is not speaking of eternal life in heaven that is also promised to those that serve him, this promise is besides that. Our life here on earth will be lengthened.

As parents we must be example of how to honor our parents. We are of key importance when it comes to be our children role models. Lets not lead them to failure or be any cause for them to miss this blessing.

Respect, obedience and appreciation, are three great ways of honoring our parents.

- 1 Corintios 9: 9- 10.

The more of everything you share, the more you'll always have to spare.
The more you love, the more love you'll find.
That life is good and friends are kind... for only what we give away, enriches us from day to day.

For it is written in the Law of Moses: “Do not muzzle an ox while it is treading out the grain.” Is it about oxen that God is concerned? Surely he says this for us, doesn’t he? Yes, this was written for us, because whoever plows and threshes should be able to do so in the hope of sharing in the harvest. ~ 1 Corinthians 9:9-10.

AAnd let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another —and all the more as you see the Day approaching. - Hebrews 10:24-25

Mente y corazón Receptivos, Receptive Mind and Heart

"Dear children, let us not love with words or speech but with actions and in truth." - 1 John 3:18

In any dealings with others, show compassion and understanding the way we would like them to be us. By allowing everyone to think and act in ways that the holy spirit indicates, we are all free to be the best we can be.

Have a blessed day,

Feliz y bendecida semana,

The True Religion

Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world. - James 1:27

Nobody is perfect, but we can try to please God with our actions and by making the correct decisions in life.

Sometimes we have to sacrifice our own economy to help others who need more than us . We sometimes may not be able to imagine through what difficult situations another person may be going through, because we believe these terrible things only happen in movies. I believe that God would like for us to live according to his teachings and be imitators of him instead of arguing about which religion we belong to, or which one is the best and perfect one. We already know the teachings Jesus left his people. Therefore we should act always please of Lord and live each day as if it was our last.
