Un Día Nuevo – Otra Oportunidad, New Day – New Opportunity

Therefore we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day. - 2 Corinthians 4:16

Every day is an opportunity to begin again. If there are changes we want to do in our lives, today is the day to make them. It is a day to get closer to achieving our aspirations. We make every day as we choose it to be, always doing good and being responsive to receive the blessings that it brings.

Por tanto, no nos desanimamos. Al contrario, aunque por fuera nos vamos desgastando, por dentro nos vamos renovando día tras día. - 2 Corintios 4:16

Cada día es una oportunidad para comenzar de nuevo. Si hay cambios que queramos hacer en nuestras vidas, hoy es el día para hacerlos. Es un día más para acercarnos a la realización de nuestras aspiraciones. Vamos hacer de cada día lo que escojamos hacer de él, Siempre haciendo el bien y estar receptivos para recibir las bendiciones que el trae.

Resurrection, RESURRECCIÓN

Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” - Matthew 28: 18-20

We are very blessed to have our Savior, for he has RISEN and by his grace we were SAVED and one day will join him in heaven to!

If there is no resurrection of the dead, then not even Christ has been raised. And if Christ has not been raised, our preaching is useless and so is your faith. More than that, we are then found to be false witnesses about God, for we have testified about God that he raised Christ from the dead. But he did not raise him if in fact the dead are not raised. For if the dead are not raised, then Christ has not been raised either. - 1 Corinthians 15:13-16

Jesús se acercó entonces a ellos y les dijo: Se me ha dado toda autoridad en el cielo y en la tierra. Por tanto, vayan y hagan discípulos de todas las naciones, bautizándolos en el nombre del Padre y del Hijo y del Espíritu Santo, enseñándoles a obedecer todo lo que les he mandado a ustedes. Y les aseguro que estaré con ustedes siempre, hasta el fin del mundo. - Mateo 28:18-20

Somos bendecidos de tener nuestro Salvador, porque Él ha RESUCITADO, por su gracia fuimos SALVADOS y un día nos uniremos con Él en su reino!

Porque si no hay resurrección de muertos, tampoco Cristo resucitó. Y si Cristo no resucitó, vana es entonces nuestra predicación, vana es también vuestra fe. Y somos hallados falsos testigos de Dios; porque hemos testificado de Dios que él resucitó a Cristo, al cual no resucitó, si en verdad los muertos no resucitan. Porque si los muertos no resucitan, tampoco Cristo resucitó; - 1 Corintios 15:13-16

Jesus Appears to the Disciples, Jesús se aparece a los discípulos

 Jesus said to them, “This is what I told you while I was still with you: Everything must be fulfilled that is written about me in the Law of Moses, the Prophets and the Psalms.” Then he opened their minds so they could understand the Scriptures.  He told them, “This is what is written: The Messiah will suffer and rise from the dead on the third day, and repentance for the forgiveness of sins will be preached in his name to all nations, beginning at Jerusalem. You are witnesses of these things.  I am going to send you what my Father has promised; but stay in the city until you have been clothed with power from on high.” - Luke 24: 44-49

Jesús les dijo -  Cuando todavía estaba yo con ustedes, les decía que tenía que cumplirse todo lo que está escrito acerca de mí en la ley de Moisés, en los profetas y en los salmos. Entonces les abrió el entendimiento para que comprendieran las Escrituras. Esto es lo que está escrito —les explicó—: que el Cristo padecerá y resucitará al tercer día, y en su nombre se predicarán el arrepentimiento y el perdón de pecados a todas las naciones, comenzando por Jerusalén. Ustedes son testigos de estas cosas. Ahora voy a enviarles lo que ha prometido mi Padre; pero ustedes quédense en la ciudad hasta que sean revestidos del poder de lo alto. - Lucas 24:44-49

I apologize to my english speaking followers for posting these videos in spanish. I really admire this ex tv show host of Despierta America in Univision, and I believe his testimony is worthy of sharing. His life being famous turned him away from his family and God. One day he decided to go to church with his wife and kids with the intention of getting back together with his wife, but he did not know God had plans with him. God gave him his family back, full of love and serving the Lord. In 2009 Fernando and his wife Rosalinda were assigned to be ministers in their church and his two sons are now preachers. He is now hosting his own tv show.

¿Por Qué Murió Jesús? Why did Jesus Die?

For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. - John 3:16


Consequently, just as one trespass resulted in condemnation for all people, so also one righteous act resulted in justification and life for all people. 19 For just as through the disobedience of the one man the many were made sinners, so also through the obedience of the one man the many will be made righteous. - Romans 5:18-19

Who could pay the ransom to free us from death? When we die, we meet the condemnation we deserve for our sins. As we are all imperfect, none of us can pay the ransom for the sins of others. Read Psalm 49:7-9

But Jesus was perfect, He did not have a human father and did not inherited imperfection. So He did not die for his own sins, but to pay for the sins of others. Indeed, God loves humanity so much that He sent His Son to die for us. And Jesus also showed that He loves us, by obeying His Father and giving His life for our sins.

Remember that the cross is not what saves or has power, but the blood and love of the one who sacrificed His life for us, Jesús Christ.

Porque tanto amó Dios al mundo, que dio a su Hijo unigénito, para que todo el que cree en él no se pierda, sino que tenga vida eterna. - Juan 3:16

Por tanto, así como una sola transgresión causó la condenación de todos, también un solo acto de justicia produjo la justificación que da vida a todos. 19 Porque así como por la desobediencia de uno solo muchos fueron constituidos pecadores, también por la obediencia de uno solo muchos serán constituidos justos.- Romanos 5:18-19

¿Quien podía pagar el rescate para liberarnos de la muerte? Cuando morimos, cumplimos la condena que merecemos por nuestros propios pecados. Como todos somos imperfectos, ninguno de nosotros puede pagar el rescate por los pecados de otras personas. Lea Salmo 49: 7-9.

Ahora bien, Jesús era perfecto, pues no tuvo un padre humano y no heredó la imperfección. Así que el no murió por sus  propios pecados, sino para pagar por los pecados de los demás. En efecto, Dios ama tanto a la humanidad que envió a su Hijo a morir por nosotros. Y Jesús también demostró que nos ama al obedecer a su Padre y dar su vida por nuestros pecados.

Recuerde que la cruz no es lo que salva o tiene poder, sino la sangre y el amor de quien sacrificó su vida por nosotros,  Jesucristo.

En este mundo en que nos apresuramos de un lugar a otro, podemos a menudo sentirnos tensos. Al tomar solo un momento para aquietarnos  y encontrar ese lugar de paz interior, sabremos que tenemos el tiempo para hacer lo que haya que hacer.

Cuando me siento tensa, me voy a dar un paseo corto en nuestra finca, el sonido de las aves silvestres, el verde de los árboles y el cielo hermoso me da tranquilidad. Dios ha creado belleza por todas partes y la belleza de la naturaleza me da paz.

¿Qué haces tú para encontrar esa paz interior?

 “Be still, and know that I am God" - Psalm 46:10

In this fast pace world, we rush from one place to another, and very often we feel tense. By taking just a moment to calm ourselves and find that inner peace, we would find that WE DO HAVE the time to do what needs to be done.

When feeling tense I go out for a short walk in our farm, the sound of the wild birds, the greenery of tress and the beautiful sky does it for me. God has created beauty all around and nature's beauty gives me peace.

 What do you do to find that inner peace?
