Dios con Nosotros, God With Us, MERRY CHRISTMAS!!

El Padre, el Hijo, y el Espíritu Santo obraron juntos en el acto de la encarnación, mediante la cual Cristo se hizo hombre. Los ángeles presentaron a Jesús como el Salvador", ~ Lucas 2:11. "Lo llamarán Emanuel, que significa, Dios con nosotros." ~ Mateo 1:23

1 Juan 4:9-11 ~ "Así manifestó Dios su amor entre nosotros: en que envió a su Hijo unigénito al mundo para que vivamos por medio de él. En esto consiste el amor: no en que nosotros hayamos amado a Dios, sino en que él nos amó y envió a su Hijo para que fuera ofrecido como sacrificio por el perdón de nuestros pecados. Queridos hermanos, ya que Dios nos ha amado así, también nosotros debemos amarnos los unos a los otros."

Les deseo una feliz y bendecida Navidad y un Nuevo Año 2013, en unión con sus familiares. Que este nuevo año nos conduzca a estar más cerca de Dios, y que su amor reine en nuestros corazones. Celebremos por un año nuevo de crecimiento en la fe, y de victoria en el nombre de Jesucristo!

This is love: not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins. Dear friends, since God so loved us, we also ought to love one another."

For this and all the terrible, very terrible things that are happening throughout the WORLD, my God  have mercy and protect us from evil. Lord I ask for your divine protection and shield of love for my family and I, and for all who visit and read this blog, in the name of Jesus.

Burrito Campesino, Country Donkey

In their journey to Bethlehem, Mary and Joseph, used a donkey as their transportation. Today we worry so much about traveling super comfortable, and about having luxury vehicles. Some only buy luxury cars, at times to call attention or for appearance only. Mary, who found grace in God, and was chosen to give birth to the Savior of the world, was traveled to Bethlehem in a simple donkey. God did not see the need for a Bugatti, a Ferrari or a Mercedes Benz, or even of  a  luxury horse.

Donkey belongs to a neighbor.

Once again, this goes to show that material things are of matter only to the world, to God, these things mean nothing. Here we can see the world's biggest miracle gift came in simple form with out any appearance . Let's find our luxury within, and see how valuable we are to God, no matter what we have or don't have.

Luke 2:1-7 ~  In those days Caesar Augustus issued a decree that a census should be taken of the entire Roman world.  (This was the first census that took place while Quirinius was governor of Syria.), And everyone went to their own town to register. So Joseph also went up from the town of Nazareth in Galilee to Judea, to Bethlehem the town of David, because he belonged to the house and line of David. He went there to register with Mary, who was pledged to be married to him and was expecting a child. While they were there, the time came for the baby to be born, and she gave birth to her firstborn, a son. She wrapped him in cloths and placed him in a manger, because there was no guest room available for them.

 

¡La madre de nuestro Redentor, en un burro!

El burro es de un vecino.

En su jornada hacia Belén, María y José, usaron como transporte un burro.  Hoy en día nos forzamos por andar super cómodos, y en buenos vehículos. A veces hay quienes compran solo autos lujosos, muchas veces por llamar a la atención o por apariencia.  María, quien hallo gracia en Dios, y fue la elegida para dar a luz a el salvador del mundo, fue llevada a Belén en un simple burro. Dios no vio la necesidad de un Bugatti, un Ferrari o un Mercedes Benz, ni siquiera de un caballo de lujo. Esto nos muestra una vez más que lo material es de solo de este mundo y que para Dios, lo material, no tiene ninguna importancia. Aquí podemos ver que el regalo más grande del mundo vino en forma sencilla, y sin apariencia. Busquemos nuestro valor, en nuestro interior, y así podremos ver lo valioso que somos para Dios, sin importar lo que tenemos.


Lucas 2:1-7 ~ Por esos días, Augusto César promulgó un edicto en el que ordenaba levantar un censo de todo el mundo.Este primer censo se llevó a cabo cuando Quirino era gobernador de Siria,por lo que todos debían ir a su propio pueblo para inscribirse. Como José era descendiente de David y vivía en Nazaret, que era una ciudad de Galilea, tuvo que ir a Belén, la ciudad de David, que estaba en Judea,para inscribirse junto con María, que estaba desposada con él y se hallaba encinta.Y mientras ellos se encontraban allí, se cumplió el tiempo de que ella diera a luz,y allí tuvo a su hijo primogénito; y lo envolvió en pañales, y lo acostó en un pesebre, porque no había lugar para ellos en ese albergue.

Oración Para Los Conductores, Prayer for Drivers

Salmos 91:11-12 ~ Porque él ordenará que sus ángeles te cuiden en todos tus caminos. Con sus propias manos te levantarán para que no tropieces con piedra alguna. 

A noche presencie un accidente automovilístico. Me quede indignada ya que el "conductor" del auto choco un hombre que iba en un motor y siguió corriendo sin parase. El pobre hombre del motor quedo ahí tirado en la oscuridad en el medio de la nada sin saber a quién reclamar. Conseguimos que fueran a auxiliarlo, pero desafortunadamente no pudimos ver la placa de quien lo choco.

En este país hay muchas personas que andan en motores sin luces, sin casco protectores, no se mantienen a la derecha de la vía y muchas veces no respetan las reglas de transito. Los motoristas son los causantes de la mayoría de accidentes de tránsito, y para desgracia de todos nada se hace al respeto. Me pongo en el lugar de los dos y sé que es algo para asustar y afectar tanto al las victimas como a los victimarios.

Cada vez que guio, digo una oración. La compartiré hoy con ustedes por si no tienen esa costumbre, empiecen desde hoy a encomendar a Dios sus viajes y pedirle su protección.

“Gracias Dios por este día, en el nombre de Jesús te pido que guardes mi camino, aclara todos los vehículos delante y detrás de mi. Que no sea yo la que guie, si no Tú. Protégeme para que yo no tenga un accidente, ni sea causante de uno. Ayúdame a llegar sana y salva a mi hogar o (trabajo). AMEN.” 

Psalm 91:11-12 For he will command his angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways; they will lift you up in their hands, so that you will not strike your foot against a stone.

 Last night I witness a car accident. I was shocked by the action of the "driver" who continued to drive away as if nothing had happen after he runned over a motorcycle driver. The poor motorcyclist lying there in the dark, in the middle of nowhere without knowing whom to claim. We got help for him, but unfortunately we could not see the license plate of the hit and run car.

In this country there are many motorcycles drivers who ride without lights, without their protective helmets, they do not yield to the right of the road and almost always do not respect traffic rules. Motorcyclist are the cause of most traffic accidents, and unfortunately for all of us, nothing is done to prevent this. I put myself in the place of the two and I know it's something to frighten and affect both the victims and the perpetrators.

Before I go out driving, I say a prayer. I thought to share it with you today, and if in case you don’t have this habit, start making it one today and entrust your travel to God for protection.

"Thank you God for this day, in the name of Jesus, I ask you to keep my path clear of vehicles in front and behind me. Be the driver of this car and protect me so that I do not have an accident, nor be the cause of one. Help me get safely to my home (or work). AMEN. "
