¡Nuestro Salvador Vive! - Our Savior Lives!

      Jesús se dió voluntariamente, murió por amor y para quitar de nosotros el pecado. A través de su muerte y resurrección nos hizo libres y nos abre el acceso directo a Dios que a la vez nos da paz, gozo en la tribulación, esperanza gloriosa, la seguridad de la salvación y vida eterna junto a Él.

Versículos que nos enseñan porque y a que vino Jesús:

Juan 20:31

Pero éstas se han escrito para que ustedes crean que Jesús es el Cristo, el Hijo de Dios, y para que al creer en su nombre tengan vida.

Juan 10:10

El ladrón no viene más que a robar, matar y destruir; yo he venido para que tengan vida, y la tengan en abundancia.

1 Juan 3:8

El que practica el pecado es del diablo, porque el diablo ha estado pecando desde el principio. El Hijo de Dios fue enviado precisamente para destruir las obras del diablo.

No debemos estar triste ni sentirnos desamparados, por que Jesús no esta muerto, Él esta Vivo!

El ángel dijo a las mujeres: —No tengan miedo; sé que ustedes buscan a Jesús, el que fue crucificado. No está aquí, pues ha resucitado, tal como dijo. Vengan a ver el lugar donde lo pusieron.

No se asusten —les dijo el angel—. Ustedes buscan a Jesús el nazareno, el que fue crucificado. ¡Ha resucitado! No está aquí. Miren el lugar donde lo pusieron.

No está aquí; ¡ha resucitado! Recuerden lo que les dijo cuando todavía estaba con ustedes en Galilea,

        Jesús no murió en vano. ¿Haz oído de que la sangre de Jesús tiene poder? Pues ese poder se nos otorgó a través de su crucifixión, sacrificio que hizo para que su sangre tuviera el poder. Por su muerte somos limpios de pecado, porque el murió para que Dios nos perdonara. SÍ…… a Ti y a Mí.

        Aunque no estuvimos ahí, esa sangre derramada fue por todos los seres humanos vivos y todos lo que faltábamos por nacer. Para activar ese poder solo necesitamos creer en Jesús, arrepentirnos de nuestros pecados, reconocerlos y pedir perdón y NO volver a pecar. Al creer y aceptar que Jesús es el hijo de Dios y único Salvador seremos sanados, salvados y tendremos poder para resistir lo malo. Cubiertos en el manto de la sangre de Cristo.

        En esta Semana Santa tomemos tiempo para recordarnos de la pasión de Cristo Jesús, y de cual importante somos para Dios, que dio su único hijo para salvarnos. Hoy somos libres, salvos y poderosos en el nombre de Jesús!

Our Savior Lives

      Jesus voluntarily, died for us because he loves us and to remove our sins. Through his death and resurrection he made us free and opened a direct access to God for us. At the same time giving us peace, joy in the tribulation, glorious hope, the safety of salvation and eternal life through him.

The following verses teach us why and for what purpose Jesus came to earth:

John 20: 31
But these are written that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that by believing you may have life in his name.

John 10:10
The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full

1 John 3: 8
He who does what is sinful is of the devil, because the devil has been sinning from the beginning. The reason the Son of God appeared was to destroy the devil's work.

We must not be sad or feel helpless, for Jesus is not dead but is alive!

Matthew 28: 5-6
The angel said to the women, "Do not be afraid; for I know that you are looking for Jesus who has been crucified.
"He is not here, for He has risen,  just as He said. Come, see the place where He was lying.

He is not here, but He  has risen Remember how He spoke to you while He was still in Galilee,

       Jesus did not die in vain. Have you heard that the blood of Christ has power? This power was granted to us when he shed his blood at the cross to clean our sins. His crucifixion has granted us forgiveness of our sins, he died so that God spares us.

       Although we were not there, the shed blood was for all humans , the living and the ones to be born. Yes...... for you and me! What we need to do to activate this divine power is to believe in Jesus, recognize and repent from our sins, ask for forgiveness and not sin again. By Believing and accepting that Jesus is the son of God and our only Savior we will be healed, saved and we shall have power to resist all evil by being covered in the mantle of the holy blood of Christ.

      This Easter take time to remember and to learned about the passion of Jesus Christ and how important we are to God, who gave his only son to save us. Today we are free, saved and powerful in the name of Jesus!

La Humildad - Humility

 1 Pedro 5:5-6

Así mismo, jóvenes, sométanse a los ancianos. Revístanse todos de humildad en su trato mutuo, porque

"Dios se opone a los orgullosos, pero da gracia a los humildes".

Humíllense, pues, bajo la poderosa mano de Dios, para que él los exalte a su debido tiempo.

 La Humildad es la característica que define a una persona modesta, alguien que no se cree mejor o más importante que los demás en ningún aspecto. Como cristianos debemos tener esta cualidad. Pues si somos imitadores de Cristo ¿Cómo nos vamos a sentir mejor que los demás? ¿Cómo predicar el amor y misericordia de Dios cuando nos creemos mejor que prójimo y ni nos acercamos a ellos? Es cierto que hay personas que no buscan de Dios, que están alejada de su camino y que tenemos deferentes niveles sociales y educativos, pero no por eso dejamos de ser criaturas de Dios . Debemos usar nuestros recursos, nuestra educación y nuestra sabiduría para llegar a ellos y hablarles de Dios. ¿Pero quién nos escuchará cuando hablamos de un Cristo que enseño esta cualidad de amor, humildad y honestidad cuando uno mismo no lo practica? Si nos llamamos imitadores de Cristo debemos ser como Èl.

Aunque la humildad social sea importante, no nos olvidemos de la humildad ante Dios. De esto se trata este versículo. Los humanos de ahora viven creyendo que no necesita a Dios, pues son tan profesionales, poderosos e inteligentes, que la palabra Bíblica le queda corta. Los bienes materiales, las posiciones logradas y las exigencias de la sociedad mundana les impide ver que sin la gracias de Dios no somos nadie. Podemos lograr mucho pero si Dios no existe en nuestro corazón, lo que sabemos y obtenemos se nos va de las manos y quedamos vació. No estoy diciendo que es malo lograr éxitos y posiciones importantes, lo que no es bueno es que nos exaltemos nosotros mismo y que no busquemos la presencia de Dios en nuestras vidas. Dejamos pues que sea Èl que se glorié y que nos ensalce a nosotros a su tiempo y no por nosotros mismo.

Me encanta el mensaje en el primer vídeo, les recomiendo verlo. El segundo es una canción muy bonita.

 Humility

1 Peter 5:5-6

Young men, in the same way be submissive to those who are older. All of you, clothe yourselves with humility toward one another, because,

"God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble." 

Humble yourselves, therefore, under God's mighty hand, that he may lift you up in due time.

Humility is the quality that defines a modest person, someone that doesn't believe he or she is better or more important than others in any way. As Christians we must have this quality. If we are imitators of Christ how are we going to act like we are better than others? How can we preach the love and mercy of God when we believe we are better than others? It is true that there are people who do not seek God and are living away from a life style of Christianity, that there is different social and educational levels, but these differences do not change that we are all creatures of God. We must use our resources, education, and wisdom to reach others and talk to them about God. Who will listen when we speak of a Christ who taught the quality of love, humility and grace when one does not practice these qualities. If we call ourselves imitators of Christ we must be like him.

Although social humility is important, don't forget the humbleness before God. This is what this verse is about. Humans now believe they don't need God, because they are so professional, powerful and intelligent that the Biblical words fall short with their lifestyle. Material goods, achieved positions and worldly social demands prevent humans from noticing that without God’s grace we are no one. We can achieve much but if God does not exist in our hearts, what we know and what we own can be lost in a moment. I am not saying that it is bad to achieve successes and important positions, what is not correct is when we exalt ourselves and the act of not seeking God's presence in our lives. Leave everything to be for God’s glory. Lets humble ourselves under God's mighty power and he will lift us up in due time.

God is listening! – ¡Dios Escucha!

On Saturday I was devastated after receiving some information about someone whom I thought I had treated as family and have helped a lot. What I have received in return were false accusations. In situations like these is when you need to show how strong your faith is. Although I knew inside of me that I could prove that what this person says is false, I got upset on how my trust was betrayed, my good deeds were unappreciated and the respect I had given was not returned. Of course I cried, I am a very sensitive person. Did I get angry? Absolutely! I am still angry, but I learned a few things in the past few days. If last Thursday I posted about The Spiritual Foundation of Faith how can I let Satan make me feel in doubt, angry and sad? That is not what I try to share with others in faith. I have to be strong, and absolutely sure that God will take care of all my problems when I present and leave it in his hands. Above all I should be happy because God wants happy people. After all life with all its good and bad moments, is a gift. I accepted that God has given me grace and that he will protect me from all evil and guide me through moments in trials. That evening I began to sing and to praise the Lord. I sang my lungs out and felt so much better that I didn’t worry a bit more. “Victory shall be mine if I let the Lord fight my battles”. 1 Corinthians 15:57 - But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.

On Monday I visited my friend Ron’s “The Old Geezer Blog” and learned that if the lion is prowling around your life, you need to take up the sword of the Spirit, the Word of God, and break free from his jaws of destruction. He also included the Bible verse - Romans 12:21 - “Be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good” and this verse has been helping me a lot through these days. How to treat someone kindly and fair in the love of God when all they have done is evil to you? The power in the words of God is what fills you up with strength and knowledge. 

Today when I went to have my morning coffee I opened the bible to find some guidance and spiritual strength and to find a verse to do my weekly entry on this blog. I had already opened the Bible, when I thought of taken a picture of the bible and the Coffee cup; I got the camera and began to take pictures. Guess in what book the Bible opened to……..Romans 12! I didn’t notice it was the same verse I had been practicing until I edited the photos! I had to share this experience, especially now when I know I am doing the right thing that God is with me and is helping me through all my trials. He can do this with you if you present to him your trials, doubts insecurity etc. Remember to present the problem, to leave it in God hands and trust in him. Under no circumstance try to take it into your hands or solve it your way, although it may seem easier, it will not be the right way. Thank you Lord for listening and for answering me.

Patiently waiting the outcome of all this,

El sábado estaba devastada, después de recibir información sobre una persona a quien pensé que había tratado como familia y que había ayudado mucho. Lo que he recibido a cambio fueron falsas acusaciones. En situaciones como estas, es cuando se necesita mostrar cuan fuerte es tu fe. A pesar de que sabía dentro de mí que podía demostrar que lo que esta persona decía era falso, estaba molesta sobre cómo fue traicionada mi confianza, mis buenas acciones despreciadas y el respeto que se le había dado no fue devuelto. Por supuesto lloré, soy una persona muy sensible. ¿Enojada yo? ¡Absolutamente! Estoy todavía indignada, pero aprendí algunas cosas en los últimos días. ¿Si el jueves pasado publique sobre la Fundación Espirituales de la Fe, cómo puedo dejar que Satanás me haga sentir duda, enojo y tristeza? Eso no es lo que intento compartir con otras personas de fe. Tengo que ser fuerte y absolutamente segura de que Dios se encargará de todos mis problemas al presentárselo y dejarlo en sus manos. Sobre todo me alegrare, porque Dios quiere que la gente sea feliz. ….. Después de todo, la vida con sus malos y buenos momentos, es un regalo. He aceptado que Dios me ha dado gracia y que Él me protegerá de todos los males y me guiará a través de momentos en pruebas. Esa noche comencé a cantar y a alabar al Señor. Canté con toda mis fuerzas y me sentí mucho mejor y no me preocupe más. "La Victoria es mía, si dejo que Cristo pelee mis batallas". 1 Corintios 15: 57 - Pero ser de gracias a Dios, que nos da la victoria a través de nuestro Señor Jesucristo.

El lunes visité "The Old Geezer Blog” de mi amigo Ron y aprendí que si el León esta merodeando alrededor de tu vida, necesitas tomar la espada del espíritu, la palabra de Dios y liberarte de sus garras de destrucción. Él también incluyó el versículo Bíblico - Romanos 12: 21-"no ser superado del mal, pero superar el mal con el bien", y este verso ha estado ayudándome mucho a través de estos días. ¿Cómo tratar a alguien amablemente y justamente en el amor de Cristo, cuando todos lo que han hecho a sido maldad hacia ti? El poder en las palabras de Dios es lo que te llena con fuerza y el conocimiento.

Hoy mientras tomaba mi café de la mañana abrí la Biblia para encontrar algunas orientaciones, fuerza espiritual y encontrar un verso para hacer mi entrada semanal de este blog. Ya yo había abierto la Biblia, cuando pensé en tomar una foto a esta y a la taza de café. Busque la cámara y comence a tomar unas cuantas fotos. ¡Adivina en qué libro se abrió la Biblia .……..en Romanos 12! No me había dado cuenta de que era el mismo verso que había estado practicando hasta que estaba editado las fotos. Tenia que compartir esta experiencia, especialmente ahora cuando sé que estoy haciendo lo correcto y que Dios está conmigo y me está ayudando a través de todos las pruebas que estoy pasando.

Dios puede hacerlo contigo si tu le presentas a Él tus pruebas, inseguridad, dudas etc. Recuerda que debe presentar el problema, dejarlo en manos de Dios y confiar en Él. Bajo ninguna circunstancia intenta resolver los problemas como tu quieres porque aunque parezca más fácil no será la manera correcta. Gracias a Señor por escucharme y por contestarme.

Pacientemente esperando el resultado de todo esto,

Fundamento Espiritual (Fe) - Spiritual Foundation (Faith)

Este versículo nos enseña que todo aquel que esta firme en la palabra de Dios y los caminos por donde anda son de el agrado de Dios, no tiene que temer a nada cuando vengan los problemas, la envidia, celos, la discordia etc. La obediencia trae seguridad y sabiduría verdadera. El  que planta su fe firme en la roca no tiene que temer a nada porque tiene una protección FULL con Dios.

Al contrario, el que no guarda la palabra y anda por caminos no agradables a Dios, cualquier problema que enfrente lo desequilibra mental y emocionalmente y puede fracasar fácilmente. La desobediencia te trae inseguridad y fracaso espiritual. ¿Cómo? La desobediencia a la palabra de Dios nos puede llevar a tener enfermedades, adicción, depresión y desunión familiar y a cometer fornicación y adulterio.

Espero que reflexiones y decida donde construirá tu fundamento espiritual, en la ROCA o en la ARENA.

Mateo 7: 24 -29

"Por tanto, todo el que me oye estas palabras y las pone en práctica es como un hombre prudente que construyó su casa sobre la roca. Cayeron las lluvias, crecieron los ríos, y soplaron los vientos y azotaron aquella casa; con todo, la casa no se derrumbó porque estaba cimentada sobre la roca. Pero todo el que me oye estas palabras y no las pone en práctica es como un hombre insensato que construyó su casa sobre la arena. Cayeron las lluvias, crecieron los ríos, y soplaron los vientos y azotaron aquella casa, y ésta se derrumbó, y grande fue su ruina. 

Cuando Jesús terminó de decir estas cosas, las multitudes se asombraron de su enseñanza, porque les enseñaba como quien tenía autoridad, y no como los maestros de la ley."

This verse teaches us that anyone who lives in obedience to the word of God and that chooses to live according to God’s will and grace, does not have to fear anything when confronted with problems, envy, jealousy, discord etc. Obedience brings security and true wisdom. If you plant your faith on solid ground, you will not fear because you know you have a FULL protection with God. On the other hand, those that do not put in practice God’s words and do not live according to God’s will and grace, any problem that they encounter will unbalance them mentally, emotionally and they can easily fail. Disobedience brings you to insecurity and spiritual failure. How? Disobedience to God’s words can bring you to suffer from any illness, addiction, depression and lack of family unity it also could bring you to commit fornication and adultery.

I hope you take a moment to reflect and decide where to build your spiritual foundation on SOLID GROUND or on SANDY SOIL?

Matthew 7:24-29

"Therefore everyone who hears these words of mine and puts them into practice is like a wise man who built his house on the rock. The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house; yet it did not fall, because it had its foundation on the rock. But everyone who hears these words of mine and does not put them into practice is like a foolish man who built his house on sand. The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house, and it fell with a great crash.

When Jesus had finished saying these things, the crowds were amazed at his teaching, because he taught as one who had authority, and not as their teachers of the law."

La Oración - Prayer

Una de las cosas esenciales que se necesitas para ser un verdadero cristiano es la oración. 

Aunque la gracia es un regalo que Dios nos ha dado a través de Jesús morir en la cruz, también es algo que debemos apreciar y honorar viviendo como verdaderos cristianos. La Gracia ayuda al hombre cumplir con los mandamientos de Dios y ser salvo, pero como verdaderos cristianos debemos ser imitadores de Jesús y de nadie más. 

En la Biblia, podemos encontrar que Jesús demuestra cuán importante es orar para superar obstáculos, tentaciones, temores, poder reprender y por necesidad del espíritu.

Jesús, estando aquí en la tierra, demostró que la oración era una necesidad. Era algo más que una costumbre ocasional por su parte, era una costumbre de toda la vida, era una actitud de mente y corazón, era el ambiente en el que vivía, era el aire mismo que respiraba. Todo cuanto hacia tenía su origen en la oración y oraba literalmente sin cesar.

En mi jornada de ir convirtiéndome en una verdadera cristiana, tengo que decir que no es fácil en lo absoluto. Siempre hay algo para cambiar, para mejorar y hacer mejor. He pasado por muchas pruebas, pero una cosa siempre ha estado presente y es la oración. La cosa más poderosa que puede hacer una cristiano es orar. Orando es la forma de comunicarse con Dios y es
nuestra poderosa arma contra el enemigo. 

Con la oración le comunicamos a Dios nuestra gratitud por todo lo que Él nos da, nuestras preocupaciones, las pruebas que estamos atravesando, nuestras dudas, temores y objetivos. La Oración debe de ser nuestra manera de descargarnos y dejar que Dios nos llene de su gloria. 

Como Jesús nos enseña a orar:

Mateo 6: 5 - 15

Cuando oren, no sean como los  hipócritas, porque a ellos les encanta orar de pie en las sinagogas y en las esquinas de las plazas para que la gente los vea. Les aseguro que ya han obtenido toda su recompensa. Pero tú, cuando te pongas a orar, entra en tu cuarto, cierra la puerta y ora a tu Padre, que está en lo secreto. Así tu Padre, que ve lo que se hace en secreto, te recompensará.  Y al orar, no hablen sólo por hablar como hacen los  gentiles, porque ellos se imaginan que serán escuchados por sus muchas palabras.  No sean como ellos, porque su Padre sabe lo que ustedes necesitan antes de que se lo pidan. 

Ustedes deben orar así: "Padre nuestro que estás en el cielo, santificado sea tu nombre, venga tu reino, hágase tu voluntad en la tierra como en el cielo.

Danos hoy nuestro pan cotidiano. Perdónanos nuestras deudas, como también nosotros hemos perdonado a nuestros deudores.Y no nos dejes caer en tentación, sino líbranos del maligno." Porque si perdonan a otros sus ofensas, también los perdonará a ustedes su Padre celestial.  Pero si no perdonan a otros sus ofensas, tampoco su Padre les perdonará a ustedes las suyas.

Romanos 12: 12 

“Alégrense en esperanza, paciente en aflicción, fiel en la oración.”

One of the essential things that are needed to be a true Christian is prayer.

Although grace is a gift given to us through Jesus dying at the cross, it is something we need to cherish and honor by living as true Christians. Grace helps man fulfill God’s commandments and be saved, but as true Christians we must be imitators of Jesus and no one else. In the Bible we can find that Jesus demonstrates how important it is to pray to overcome obstacles, temptations, fear, to reprimand and for the necessity of ones spirituality. 

For Jesus, praying was a necessity. It was more than an occasional habit for his part, it was a lifelong habit, an attitude of mind and heart. Everything he did had its origin in prayer and he literally prayed constantly. In my life long journey of becoming a true Christian, I have to say that it is not easy at all. There is always something to change, to improve and to make better. I have been trough lots of trails, but one thing has always been present and that’s prayer. The most powerful thing a person can do is pray. Praying is way of communicating with God, and our arm against the enemy.

By praying we communicate to God our thankfulness for all that he gives us, our concerns for the trails we are going through, our doubts, fears and goals. It should be our way to empty ourselves to God and let him fill us with his glory.

How Jesus teaches us to pray:

Matthew 6: 5- 15 

And when you pray, do not be like the hypocrites, for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and on the street corners to be seen by men. I tell you the truth, they have received their reward in full. But when you pray, go into your room, close the door and pray to your Father, who is unseen. Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you. And when you pray, do not keep on babbling like pagans, for they think they will be heard because of their many words. Do not be like them, for your Father knows what you need before you ask him. "This, then, is how you should pray:”

'Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name, your kingdom come, your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us today our daily bread. Forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one, if you forgive men when they sin against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you do not forgive men their sins, your Father will not forgive your sins.

Romans 12:12 Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer.

Our God Is an Awesome God! Nuestro Dios es Maravilloso!
