- Mateo 6:24

Key #1 to be happy: Practice Giving

For the love of money is the root of all kinds of evil. And some people, craving money, have wandered from the true faith and pierced themselves with many sorrows. - 1 Timothy 6:10

Advertising makes us believe that we always need something more. It pushes us to buy the latest, best or the greatest, no matter how much we have to work to get it. It very easy to be seduced by the charms of money. King Solomon, "Anyone who loves money never has enough. Anyone who loves wealth is never satisfied with what he gets. That doesn't have any meaning either. " Ecclesiastes 5:10

So what is the solution?
Imitate Jesus, who loved people more than all things. He himself said: "In everything I did, I showed you that we must work hard and help the weak. We must remember the words of the Lord Jesus. He said, 'It is more blessed to give than to receive." Acts 20:35. If we spend our time and resources to help people, they will also feel driven to do the same. Thus, Jesus advised: "Give, and it will be given to you. A good amount will be poured into your lap. It will be pressed down, shaken together, and running over. The same amount you give will be measured out to you." Luke 6:38.

Ask yourself the following: "Do I really need all that I buy?  Could I simplify my lifestyle". If we manage our time and our energy well, we can concentrate on more important things like: helping others and serving God, who has given us everything. No one can serve two masters at the same time. He will hate one of them and love the other. Or he will be faithful to one and dislike the other. You can't serve God and Money at the same time. - Matthew 6:24
