Muchas personas son como camiones de basura, andan por ahí llenos basura, están llenos de frustración, llenos de ira y lleno de decepción. A mediado que su basura se va amontonando buscan un lugar donde verterla. Si los dejas, van a voltear su camión sobre ti. Así que cuando alguien quiere volcar sobre ti, no lo tomes personal. No tiene nada que ver contigo. Sólo sonríe, deséale bien y siga adelante. Créeme estarás más feliz así!
Las personas exitosas no permiten que camiones de basura se descarguen sobre ellos. Si alguien vuelca una carga sobre ti, No te molestes. No te enojes. No te ofendas. Si cometes ese error, acabará llevando sus cargas alrededor y finalmente la vas a volcar sobre alguien.
Mantén tu tapa cerrada. A veces necesitaras tener una tapa de acero. En estos días, hay muchas personas esparciendo veneno a través de críticas, malas noticias e ira; necesitarás mantener esa tapa Bien puesta! No podemos evitar que nos volteen la basura encima, pero al mantener nuestras tapas cerradas, lo mandaremos a reciclar!
I have found the last book I read so helpful that I will be sharing highlights of the things I found that would help us with our every day stress. One of the chapters I found helpful was the one where "the Law of the Garbage truck" was shared.
Many people are like garbage trucks, they run around full of garbage, full of frustration, full of anger, and full of disappointment. As their garbage piles up they look for a place to dump it. If you let them, they'll dump it on you. So when someone wants to dump on you, don't take it personal. It doesn't have anything to do with you. Just smile, wave, wish them well and move on. Believe me you'll be happier!
Successful People don't allow garbage trucks to unload on them. If someone dumps a load on you, don't be upset. Don't be angry. Don't be offended. If you make that mistake, you'll end up carrying their loads around and eventually you'll dump them on somebody else.
Keep your lid on. Sometimes you may need to have a steel lid. These days, though, so many people are dumping out poison through criticism, bad news, and anger; you'll need to keep that lid on TIGHT! We can't stop people from dumping their garbage, but by keeping our lids ON, we can tell them to recycle instead!
