Cadenas
Todo el que comete pecado es esclavo del pecado - (Juan 8:34)
Así, humildemente, debe corregir a los adversarios, con la esperanza de que Dios les conceda el arrepentimiento para conocer la verdad, de modo que se despierten y escapen de la trampa en que el diablo los tiene cautivos, sumisos a su voluntad. - 2 Timoteo 2:25-26
Siempre hablamos de que Cristo rompe las cadenas, y que cuando oramos se rompen las ataduras del pecado. ¿Pero cuales son las ataduras que nos atan y las cadenas que no nos dejan ser libres y vivir la vida libre del pecado? Algunos de los pecados que nos encadenan son la avaricia,el egoísmo, la pereza, la envidia, la lujuria,la mentira, el odio, la deslealtad y la injusticia.
Es posible romper las cadenas del pecado desde que tomamos la experiencia del amor cuando vengamos a Cristo. El saber que Dios no guarda rencores eternos, y descubrir que nos tiende una y mil veces su mano amiga, sentir su abrazo bondadoso que busca librarnos, es la esperanza que rompe todas la ataduras y nos ayuda a buscar la salvación.

"I tell you the truth, everyone who sins is a slave to sin." - John 8:34
Gently instruct those who oppose the truth. Perhaps God will change those people’s hearts, and they will learn the truth. Then they will come to their senses and escape from the devil’s trap. For they have been held captive by him to do whatever he wants. - 2 Timothy 2:25-26
We always speak of the breaking of chains, and we pray to break the bondage of sins. But what are these bonds that bind us and the chains that do not let us be free and live life free of sin? Some of the sins that bind us are greed, selfishness, laziness, lust, lies, hate, unfairness and injustice.
It is possible to break the chains of sin as we experience the love when we come to Christ. Knowing that God does not keep grudges forever, finding out that a thousand times his helping hand is extended to help us, feeling his embrace and kindness that seeks to deliver us, is the hope that breaks all the bonds and helps us to seek salvation.

a chain is exactly that - when you allow one sin to sit on another; when you cover your own guilt with judgment on others; when you collect together hurts and turn them into grudges. God forgives before the sin is even carried out but we have to do our part through Reconciliation. When we admit our failings and work through the changes we can make in our hearts and our lives then we can break the bonds - always begin again.

ResponderEliminarMe gustaba leer sus post sobre Cadenas. La pregunta es grave. ¿Qué opinas tú son las cadenas de enlace que impiden nuestro progreso en la vida espiritual? Yo creo que gálatas 5: 19-21 identifica aquellas cosas que nos unen de heredar el Reino de Dios.

The acts of the sinful nature are obvious: sexual immorality, impurity and debauchery; 20idolatry and witchcraft; hatred, discord, jealousy, fits of rage, selfish ambition, dissensions, factions 21and envy; drunkenness, orgies, and the like. I warn you, as I did before, that those who live like this will not inherit the kingdom of God.

Las obras de la naturaleza pecaminosa se conocen bien: inmoralidad sexual, impureza y libertinaje;20 idolatría y brujería; odio, discordia, celos, arrebatos de ira, rivalidades, disensiones, sectarismos21 y envidia; borracheras, orgías, y otras cosas parecidas. Les advierto ahora, como antes lo hice, que los que practican tales cosas no heredarán el reino de Dios.
Estoy totalmente de acuerdo,debemos guardar los mandamientos de Dios si queremos entrar en la vida eterna.

Isaias 59:2 dice " pero vuestras iniquidades han hecho division entre vosotros y vuestro Dios, y vuestros pecados han hecho ocultar de vosotros su rostro para no oir".
ResponderEliminarEl pecado no importa cual sea nos aparta de Dios y al estar apartado de su presencia nos hace presas facil para satanas. La unica manera de librarnos de esa naturaleza caida es atravez de Jesus. Romanos 8 nos dice que la ley del Espiritu de vida en Cristo Jesus nos a LIBRADO de la ley del pecadoy la muerte.esta es una declaracion de libertad para nosotros.Pues cuando vivimos por el Espiritu se rompen todas las cadenas.
