Times of Tests, TIEMPOS de PRUEBAS

Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the LORD your God will be with you wherever you go.” ~ Joshua 1:9

There may be times in life when we may feel discourage and as though there is nothing good in our future. We may also feel as though God is not listening or has forgotten us. These are the times of test. On the contrary of what we feel, God is there with us and He is listening.

Like a teacher in an exam room, he is quite watching us take the test. Teachers prepare us days, weeks and even months before they give us a test. They teach us all the topics we need to know and many times even give us a review to prepare us well for the test. God does the same with us. He prepares us and then watches to see if we have learned. At these moments we should be confident and have faith that good things will come for us and that there is a brighter day ahead. God will not give us a test if he knew we were not ready. Don't get discourage, God has confidence in you and you will come through the test victoriously!

What God want us to do in order to pass the test and flourish:

• To remain upbeat and not to discourage or bitter.
• Stay in faith.
• Hang on to our happiness.
• Treat others kindly.
• Be a blessing.

"If you don't allow the enemy to discourage you, one of his greatest weapons has been lost!"

Mira que te mando que te esfuerces y seas valiente; no temas ni desmayes, porque Jehová tu Dios estará contigo en dondequiera que vayas. ~ Josué 1:9

Hay momentos en nuestras vidas cuando sentimos desaliento y no vemos nada bueno en nuestro futuro. También en ocasiones podemos hasta sentir que Dios no nos escucha, y que nos ha olvidado. Estos son los tiempos de prueba. Al contrario de lo que sentimos, Dios si está allí con nosotros y Él si nos escucha.

Como un maestro en una sala de examen que se para en frente en silencio, así Dios nos está observando mientras tomamos el examen. Los profesores nos preparan días, semanas e incluso meses antes de darnos un examen. Ellos nos enseñan todos los temas que tenemos que saber y muchas veces hasta nos dan un repaso para prepararnos para el examen. Dios hace lo mismo con nosotros. Él nos prepara y luego mira a ver si le hicimos caso y aprendimos de sus enseñanzas. En estos momentos debemos tener confianza en nosotros mismos, tener fe que cosas buenas vendrán para nosotros y que habrá un día brillante por delante. Dios no nos permitiría pasar por una prueba si no estamos listos. No nos desalentemos, porque Dios tiene confianza en nosotros y y saldremos de la prueba victoriosamente!

Lo que Dios quiere que hagamos para poder pasar la prueba y florecer:

• Seguir siendo optimistas y no desanimarnos o llenarnos de amargura.
• Permanecer en la fe.
• Aferrarnos a nuestra felicidad.
• Tratar a los demás amablemente.
• Ser de bendición.
