La vida por el Espíritu

Así que les digo: Vivan por el Espíritu, y no seguirán los deseos de la naturaleza pecaminosa. Porque ésta desea lo que es contrario al Espíritu, y el Espíritu desea lo que es contrario a ella. Los dos se oponen entre sí, de modo que ustedes no pueden hacer lo que quieren. Pero si los guía el Espíritu, no están bajo la ley.

Las obras de la naturaleza pecaminosa se conocen bien: inmoralidad sexual, impureza y libertinaje; idolatría y brujería; odio, discordia, celos, arrebatos de ira, rivalidades, disensiones, sectarismos y envidia; borracheras, orgías, y otras cosas parecidas. Les advierto ahora, como antes lo hice, que los que practican tales cosas no heredarán el reino de Dios.

En cambio, el fruto del Espíritu es amor, alegría, paz, paciencia, amabilidad, bondad, fidelidad, humildad y dominio propio. No hay ley que condene estas cosas. - Galatas 5:15-23

El amor puede transformar lo común en belleza, amabilidad, bondad y gracia.

Life by the Spirit

So I say, live by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the sinful nature. For the sinful nature desires what is contrary to the Spirit, and the Spirit what is contrary to the sinful nature. They are in conflict with each other, so that you do not do what you want. But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under law.

The acts of the sinful nature are obvious: sexual immorality, impurity and debauchery; idolatry and witchcraft; hatred, discord, jealousy, fits of rage, selfish ambition, dissensions, factions and envy; drunkenness, orgies, and the like. I warn you, as I did before, that those who live like this will not inherit the kingdom of God.

But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law. - Galatians 5:15-23

Love can transform the most commenplace into beauty and kindness and goodness and grace.

El Amor de Dios, God's Love

El Amor de Dios

“Aunque cambien de lugar las montañas y se tambaleen las colinas, no cambiará mi fiel amor por ti, ni vacilará mi pacto de paz”; dice el Señor, que de ti se compadece. - Isaías 54:10 

Dios te ama, constantemente, por completo, y de manera irrevocable. El te ama a pesar de tu pasado, a la luz de tu futuro, y sin tener en cuenta que tu condición social o económica. El amor de Dios es GRATIS para todos los que opten por extender la mano y tomarlo. ¿Has abierto tu corazón a la amante de tu alma? ¿Has sentido la gloria de estar inmersos en su amor? No sabemos por qué Él elige amarnos, solo sabemos que lo hace. ¡Alabado sea su nombre!

Gods Love

"Though the mountains be shaken and the hills be removed, yet my unfailing love for you will not be shake nor my covenant of peace be removed,"says the LORD, who has compassion on you. - Isaiah 54:10

God loves you, constantly, completely, and irrevocably. He loves you in spite of your past, in light of your future, and without regard for you social or economic status. God`s love is FREE to all who choose to reach out and take it. Have you opened your heart to the lover of your soul? Have you felt the glory of being immersed in His love? We do not know why He chooses to love us- only that He does. Praise His name!

Las Cadenas del Pecado, The Chains of Sins

Cadenas

Todo el que comete pecado es esclavo del pecado -  (Juan 8:34)

Así, humildemente, debe corregir a los adversarios, con la esperanza de que Dios les conceda el arrepentimiento para conocer la verdad, de modo que se despierten y escapen de la trampa en que el diablo los tiene cautivos, sumisos a su voluntad.  - 2 Timoteo 2:25-26

Siempre hablamos de que Cristo rompe las cadenas, y que cuando oramos se rompen las ataduras del pecado. ¿Pero cuales son las ataduras que nos atan y las cadenas que no nos dejan ser libres y vivir la vida libre del pecado? Algunos de los pecados que nos encadenan son  la avaricia,el egoísmo, la pereza, la envidia, la  lujuria,la mentira, el odio, la  deslealtad y la injusticia.

Es posible romper las cadenas del pecado desde que tomamos la experiencia del amor cuando vengamos a Cristo. El saber que Dios no guarda rencores eternos, y descubrir que nos tiende una y mil veces su mano amiga, sentir su abrazo bondadoso que busca librarnos, es la esperanza que rompe todas la ataduras y nos ayuda a buscar la salvación.

Chains

"I tell you the truth, everyone who sins is a slave to sin." - John  8:34

Gently instruct those who oppose the truth. Perhaps God will change those people’s hearts, and they will learn the truth. Then they will come to their senses and escape from the devil’s trap. For they have been held captive by him to do whatever he wants. - 2 Timothy 2:25-26

We always speak of the breaking of chains, and we pray to  break the bondage of sins. But what are these bonds that bind us and the chains that do not let us be free and live life free of sin? Some of the sins that bind us are greed, selfishness, laziness, lust, lies, hate, unfairness and injustice.

It is possible to break the chains of sin as we experience the love when we come to Christ. Knowing that God does not keep grudges forever, finding out that a thousand times his helping hand is extended to help us, feeling his embrace and kindness that seeks to deliver us, is the hope that breaks all the bonds and helps us to seek salvation.
