And You Thought We are Perfect, Pensabas que Somos Perfectos

We say we are Christians, that Jehovah, God almighty is our Savior, our light, our faith and our reason to be. We call ourselves Christians, sons and daughters of God. Do we really act that way 24/7? Are there times we look more like the rest of the world rather than imitators of God?

Is there a great deal of hallelujahs on stage, but little production backstage? What I mean are we really behaving like Christians, living the Christian life from dusk until dawn or are we just saying "I'm a christian" to get attention, seek favors and/ or advancements using God as an amulet to get ahead in church, work, school etc. I hardly like to say I am christian, not because I am embarrassed but because I believe if you are a servant of God it should show in the way you behave in any ordinary day. One fellow christian I know says, "it's nice to say you are christian, but it's even better to show it".

As the Bible states in True and False Disciples, Matthew 7:21-29~ “Not everyone who says to me, 'Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. Many will say to me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name and in your name drive out demons and in your name perform many miracles?’ Then I will tell them plainly, ‘I never knew you. Away from me, you evildoers!

These evil doers "Christians" cause confusion, disillusionment and doubt in God existence and damage the good work of the children of God. My advice: do not let your faith be based on false Christians. Christians are not perfect, they are imitators of God. There is no human role model, not even the pastors are perfect. Seek the road to salvation and spiritual peace through Jesus Christ and only through him. From the humans only copy their goodness, and of their bad habits and behavior don't store any of it in your mind and heart.

Becoming imitator of God is an ongoing climb of spiritual change and growth. It's not easy to change; it's done in steps and little by little. When you start learning about God and seek him, there are a great deal of things  that need to be left behind, and changed in ourselves. Things you may not think are wrong, ARE. When you see evil doers calling themselves Christians do not be deceived, but also remember it's a ongoing battle; therefore, in the spirit of meekness be kind and understanding because they could be Christians under constructions, humans beings trying to find a way to be true imitators of God under pressure, stress, everyday burdens, and temptations, just like anyone else. Pray and ask for the same spirit of meekness in return because you too can be tempted! And you thought we are perfect :)

Nosotros decimos que somos cristianos, que Jehová Dios Todopoderoso es nuestro Salvador, nuestra luz, nuestra fe y nuestra razón de ser. Nos llamamos cristianos, los hijos e hijas de Dios. Pero, ¿Realmente actuamos de esa manera 24/7? ¿Nos parecemos más al resto del mundo o a imitadores de Dios?

¿Hay una gran cantidad de aleluyas en el escenario, pero poca producción detrás del telón? Lo que quiero decir es, que si realmente nos estamos comportando como verdaderos cristianos, viviendo una vida plena en Cristo desde el atardecer hasta el amanecer o estamos diciendo: "Yo soy cristiano" para llamar la atención, buscando solamente beneficios propios como son favores y / o avanzar usando a Dios como amuleto para escalar posicionamiento en la iglesia, trabajo, negocio y escuela. A mi no me gusta decir que soy cristiana, no porque me da vergüenza, sino porque creo que si uno es siervo de Dios, eso se demuestra con tu forma de ser, no hay que gritarlo a los cuatro vientos buscando adulación de los hombres. Un compañero cristiano dice, "Es bueno decir que uno es cristiano, pero es más bonito demostrarlo."

Como nos aclara la Biblia en Jesús conoce a los suyos: Mateo 7:2-29 “No todo el que me dice: “Señor, Señor”, entrará en el reino de los cielos, sino el que hace la voluntad de mi Padre que está en los cielos. En aquel día, muchos me dirán: “Señor, Señor, ¿no profetizamos en tu nombre, y en tu nombre echamos fuera demonios, y en tu nombre hicimos muchos milagros?” Pero yo les diré claramente: “Nunca los conocí. ¡Apártense de mí, obreros de la maldad!” 

Estos cristianos “hacedores de maldad” muchas veces causan confusión, desilusión, dudas en la existencia de Dios y dañan el buen trabajo de los buenos hijos de Dios. Mi consejo: no dejes que tu fe se base en los falsos cristianos. Los cristianos no son perfectos, solo son imitadores de Dios. No hay modelo humano a seguir, ni siquiera los pastores son perfectos. Busca el camino a la salvación y a la paz espiritual a través de Cristo Jesús y sólo de Él. De los humanos solo copia lo bueno, de sus malos hábitos y comportamientos no copies, ni lo guardes en tu cerebro y corazón.

Ser imitadores de Dios es una subida constante de cambios y crecimiento espiritual. No es fácil cambiar, se hace paso a paso y poco a poco. Cuando comienzas a aprender y a buscar más de Dios, te das cuenta de todas las cosas que debes dejar atrás y que debes cambiar en ti. Cosas que pensamos que no son incorrectas, pero sí las son. Así que cuando ves hacedores de maldad que se hacen llamar cristianos no te dejes engañar, recuerda que esta es una batalla constante, por lo tanto, con espíritu de mansedumbre seamos amables y comprensivos, ya que éstos pueden ser cristianos bajo construcción, humanos tratando de encontrar una manera de ser verdaderos imitadores de Dios bajo la presión, el estrés, las cargas cotidianas y las tentaciones como cualquier otra persona. Ora y pide el mismo espíritu de mansedumbre a cambio, porque tú también puedes ser tentado… y pensabas que éramos perfectos :)
